Allergy Tests

Useful information regarding allergy testing and immunotherapy:

  • Anyone over the age of two can be tested for allergies.
  • You must be seen by one of our providers before you can be seen for allergy testing
  • Recent studies indicate that immunotherapy can prevent people from developing new allergies and even reduce the risk of developing asthma in children with nasal allergies.
  • Immunotherapy is especially useful for people who suffer from asthma, allergic pneumonia, conjunctivitis (pink eye), undiagnosed cough, dermatitis (skin irritation), insect allergies, rhinitis, sinusitis, urticaria (hives), and angioedema (similar to hives but beneath the skin).
