Description:
Provide quality care to patients consistent with AFD’s Standard protocol and procedures; perform thorough medical examination, diagnoses illness, orders appropriate lab tests and imaging procedures to help in the diagnostic process; order and analyze the results of various diagnostic tests including laboratory tests, EKG’s; advise patients concerning diet, hygiene, and methods for prevention of disease; document and monitor of patients’ condition, medication, and others; make appropriate referrals to specialists as medically indicated; participate in continuing education courses, in-services, and staff meeting and available for on-call after hours and answers patient emails or calls promptly; supervision of mid-levels and working with team leaders on issues regarding quality patient care and good patient flow.

Requirements:
Medical Degree from an accredited university in the United States or its foreign equivalent. Must be board certified in internal medicine or family medicine with at least two-year experience in primary care. Must be licensed to practice medicine in the State of Tennessee.

Opportunity Location:
Smyrna, Spring Hill and Brentwood Tennessee

Work Schedule:
4 to 5 days per week
